Thanks, I now really hope to stick with XP for awhile. Just like the way
everything that I have works. Would really miss all of the voices that I now
have for games etc.

I'm pretty sure that all of my ATT voices are sapi 5.1 since they work with my
games. Same with my Neo Speech and Cepstral voices.
The only thing is, in VB6 I need to add the Microsoft speech object library in
references and I don't think that it would be in the list if I do not

i'm sure your voices would still work. i only know the atnt ones didn't but
don't know if any of the others would work. think they would. but someone with

volume down for the music, nothing happens. I would like to turn it off
