[Audyssey] survive the wild

hi

also dennis the maker of alter aeon, if you are on this list please tell 
the people on the alter aeon server that survive the wild is also a fun 
game. now to my question. I made 40 pots. how do i make a fishing pole 
and lore for fishing? also it would be cool if there were caves under 
the mountain, with lava in some of their rooms, a dangerous volcanic 
area to explore and gather and craft things from, caves for mining 
metals and such, a cold snowy icey area to gather and make stuff with 
snow and ice. also wild animals to hunt. and since this game is based 
off the consequences of a nuclear war maybe zombies and cave monsters to 
fight. and maybe in the fishing village A-I villagers you could recruit 
to help you on longer missions. wild animals that hunt you and can be 
hunted also. survive the wild is great! I love the beach, oceans, caves, 
forests, mountains, volcanic and snowy areas. Also maybe in the future 
we could build houses and so many houses makes a village and we could 
put dirt down and make gardens and plant food or have the A-I villagers 
or online friends help out. its survive the wild so that stuff is part 
of survival. this game is great i wish i could donate to it!

Hi,
I could be wrong, but I think he's referring to the fact that when rides 
break down, they aren't simply repaired, but need to be demolished 
completely. This has always struck me as unrealistic, particularly when 
it comes to the food stands. If a grill or oven breaks, you wouldn't 
annihilate the entire stand. You would simply replace the malfunctioning 
parts.


Now, if a ride or attraction catches on fire or something, that's a 
different story. But I've always been of the opinion that if this game 
is ever updated, there should be different kinds of repairs for just 
this purpose. That way, you might pay a certain amount of money for a 
broken grill, or a lot more for the roller coaster if it's been struck 
by lightning or something.

Hi. 
That's one I've not come across. 
Remember you need more staff than the minimum suggested to allow for sickness 
and vacation time. Think around 10% over the minimum. 
What makes you think rides need rebuilding every week?

Hi,

I totally agree with what Dark is saying here. A lot of problems with
Castaways can be solved by not being too static. As he says a lot of
times you don't need a doctor so rather than have him or her standing
around get the doctor out to do food deliveries, go hunting, chop
lumber, or something else useful. Thinking that this person only has
one job can get your entire settlement killed because you aren't
making use of all of your human resources. A lot of what makes you an
effective Castaways player is being able to assign and reassign people
to different tasks as needed rather than just giving each person a
task and letting them stand around waiting for work.

Hi Lori,

Well, I generally place my garde towers pretty far away from my
settlement that way if goblins come all the fighting is as far away
from my settlement as possible. I generally place my settlement in the
center of the map, or as centered as possible, and then my guard
towers are at least four or five squares away from my nearest building
that way it gives me a bit of open area for fighting and to use as a
buffer between my settlement and the goblin raiders.
