I would groan, but I’ve told many other people this regarding other games, so I get a taste of my own medicine. It’s just not second nature to me. Hi, all, This chapter has been nagging at me for years. I can play every other level, but parrying in this sword fight is a mystery to me. Has anyone else figured out how to solve it? I get the same results whether VO is on or off. I know I’m pressing the right buttons. Sometimes with VO on, I don’t even have to double tap the button. I’m suspecting it could be a timing issue, which would make it darned realistic. I’d love to hear from anyone else who’s solved it. HI Teresa, Can you detail what is giving you the trouble? I've solved this one, but it is annoying to be sure. I can tell you what I did if you wish. If not, then stop reading now. :) Smiles, Cara :) S O R T O F S P O I L E R S P A C E • The buttons are arranged in an upside down T formation with the bottom left button parrying left, the bottom right button parrying right, and the top middle button parrying forward. • With VO turned off, I placed my left thumb near the left button and had my right thumb (or forefinger, I can't remember which) ready to tap either the right or top middle button. this way I was able to have all three buttons readily accessible right when I needed them. • the action gets really fast so from here you just need to listen to which way the sword strikes are coming from. Basically, I’m just not getting consistent feedback on what I’m doing right or wrong. one minute I parry four times and then nothing for twenty tries, and I have no idea what I’m doing differently. I’m pushing buttos that correspodd to the direction of the sword strike. I hear the demon grunt, which tells me that I’m doing well. Other times I hear the sound and flesh being struck, and other times it’s a complete miss. Anyhow, I'll definitely give your method a try. so hide! LOL I keep trying it with VO on and off and it’s sort of six of one and half-dozen of another. The buttons are at all angles to each other, usually a Y shape or upside-down Y-shape, and that’s tricky for me. I repeat darren, my issure isn't whether it is possible! Heck, it would theoretically be possible for a total blind play to play any sighted game by saying learning hold forward for 0.1 secons, hold right for 0.2 seconds, press down twice etc such a thing would be ridiculos though. it's the effort question that concerns me, not whether it is possible. This is why I was wondering about whether the buttons were readable with vo, since obviously with vo you can tell at least where the buttons are, and thus have the same information as a sighted player for when you turn vo off. I'm also trying to figure out Soul Trapper, and what exactly one has to do in order to catch and trap a ghost. I've tried it with VoiceOver on and off, without any luck. At least with speech on I can tell where buttons are, but all the buttons tell me is the name of the chapter, and where I am, which doesn't help much. With speech off I'm not sure I'm even managing to hit any actual buttons! The friend whose iPhone I've been playing with while they're visiting for the weekend actually managed to lock onto one, but they couldn't figure out how to fire the trigger to actually trap the ghost, so we're both stuck. Hey I just bought this game and I am having problems. First the buttons in the gameplay is not label. The other thing is the arrows are hard to use example when I was in the first level it said something about getting the spirit but I can never tap the arrows.
