yeah I know tom, as long as the core libs stay backward compatible I
know a lot of stuff is 32 and 64 right now but eventually 32 bit will die.
A lot still use 32 bit software even on 64 bit systems but you are
right eventually that will change.

Hi Shaun,
Well, yes, driver updates will be one complication, but compatibility
will also eventually be another reason to upgrade assuming the person
has a desire to stay current.
A lot of new software is being designed for a 64-bit OS, and while

Hi Shaun,
Well, while it is true Microsoft will discontinue updates and support
for XP next year I somehow think it won't go away immediately.
Remember a lot of blind users refuse to upgrade to Windows 7 or
Windows 8, and plan to stick with XP as long as possible. As a result

Hi Lisa,
Lol. Yes, you are probably right. Bavisoft is a joke, because they
haven't updated their software in 8 going on 9 years, take forever to
ship CDs if ever, and never respond to their e-mail. Not to mention
I've heard their games don't run on Windows 7
Just to offer a correction, what actually happened was that since I noticed
bavisoft only ever responded to people who threatened to pirate their games,
I posted a topic on audiogames.net with the subject hacked copies of
chillingham and grizly gulch available free for download and then the
Hi Dark,
That's more than I plan to do.. I will not include them in the
Audyssey games list as that would seem like an endorsement of some
kind. Even if I put warnings on their pages not to buy or deal with
Bavisoft I feel if I have to do that might as well remove them
completely from the list,
Hi Darren,
Well, its nice to know they can be made to run on Win 7 so I stand
corrected about that then. However, the point still remains that
Bavisoft has not stayed up to date with changes in software, have not
made an upgrade in like eight years, and are nearly impossible to
contact. They are
Hi Tom.
I know what you mean, but I'm loathed to remove them entirely, since they
obviously still come up in conversation and it's helpful for people to know
what is being talked about when we say for instance a menue based adventure
system like chillingham even if the games aren't available

my issue with chillingham was mainly the combat system.
you never run out of ammo and although in gg and chillingham you
have the 5 position combat system which is quite hard you could get

Hi Lindsay.,
Sad to say if we are talking Bavisoft sometime between a week and

because they never answer their e-mail, and have to practically be
threatened with a lawsuit to send the ordered materials. I would say

Hi All,
My Sister-in-law bought me Chillingham from Bavisoft on CD on my birthday. She

Hello,
You should have refrained from purchasing something from an abandoned
company. Since 2004, Bavisoft has stopped putting frequent updates about
their developments. Since then, many copies of Chilling ham and Grizzly
Gulch have been floating around.
Let us know if you would like a copy

Hi,
Don't feel bad, you're not the only one who's experienced this situation
with Bavisoft. A few years ago, a friend of mine from the US ordered one of
their games, and it took almost a month to get to him. And this was with a
PayPal order. Needless to say, he told me afterwords that he
