[Audyssey] phil vlasak, the cream of accessible gaming!

2008-02-27 Thread nicol
I need to give phil a lot of credit but I also have some suggestions.
Dear phil, without you the blind gaming community wouldn't have been the
same. You are the cream of accessible gaming!
You made a harry potter game available to blind people. I can't thank you
enough! Its wonderfull.
Please don't feel bad at all about the bugs in sarah. Shame every
programmer makes mistakes, you're not alone.
I want to meet the guy who can program a game without bugs. You're
Awesome. I just have a slight, slight suggestion for sarah.
Can't you please please have a look at the bug where it restarts the whole
time? I'm on floor7 in the corridors and each time I scare peeves the game
restarts.
With restart I mean, I hear the same sound as when the program is initially
launched, that sound that sounds like chimes and then the pcs logo.
Its just a slight improvement that I would like to see. I can remember you
said you already fixed the motor bike bug.
Phil, you mean a lot to the blind gaming community. You endured my gripes
and complaints and from now on I will only give you all the credit you
deserve.
You need all the encouragement you can have, no programmer is perfect. Bugs
sneeks in everywhere.
Keep it up dear phil
One last question: do you have more or less an idea when patch6 will be
ready? Shame I know you have a hectic life besides programming.

[Audyssey] Phil Vlasak and the deathly patches,

2007-12-17 Thread Phil Vlasak
Hi Folks,
With Christmas heading towards us fast like a steam engine, here is a

Yes, the biggest, nastiest, and most recent patchment
of Phil Vlasak's fantastic Sarah game fulfills all
appropriate prophecies by apparating straight onto your
harddrives.

As you might expect, Phil has cursed the bug population
of this amazing harry potter 3D exploration and
adventure game into oblivion, but also he gives us more
new features that you can wave a death stick at.

The layout of the castle has been magically pushed into
line, so that it as closely as possible resembles that
given out by Jk herself, particularly in the matter of
the hufflepuff and Ravenclaw common rooms. We also have
new creatures, new magic items, new spells, the chance
to borrow Syrius black's favorite form of
transportation, and even some new game features as
well. Now, pressing O will activate Sarah's object
detector which will tell you the distance and position
of the various magical artifacts you come across. Also,
objects no longer constantly speak out their names, but
now give out noises instead.

then, Sarah has obviously been paying attention in her
potions classes, since she's now got a potions kit,
which you can examine in her inventory with the X key,
to see just how many potions you have.

With all these great new features, it's more reason
than ever to apparate over to Pcs games
http://www.pcsgames.net/sarah.htm
Now, if that's it, I'll be off on my broom.

Now, if that's it, I'll be off on my broom.
