Re: [Audyssey] The Ensign game questions

2015-02-10 Thread dark

Hi Sylvester.

As I remember, you do need to get the hull at %100, though you can upgrade
it more after that, however if you look at the ship you'll get a good idea
whether you can lift off or not, it'll glow blue when it's ready.

As to the upgrades you can buy, yes, each one takes up 10 weight in your
inventory so you can have a limited amount, especially next to your weapons
and food. I believe I finished the game with one of each type, but it's nice
to have a use for all tha inventory space on the convoy, sinse back in a
dark room it didn't really serve a purpose, also it keeps the hunt for alien
alloy interesting.

Btw, for a particular special, go and visit the general back at the swamp
after you have found one particularly unique event that ties The Ensign back
to the plot of A dark room.

All the best,

Dark.

Greetings Dark!
Well I am getting closer, Thanks for all your tips along the way.
A few more questions for you to help get me to the end.
Sppoiler for any one not at the end of the game.
You have been warned!
Any way I have the ships hull at 70 percent but cannot lift off.
It seems that that button is not highlighted, or rather cant be selected.
What am i missing?
Do I need more alien aloy?
Did I miss an item?
Also one question about Eyes, health meley.
Do these upgrades cost you weight? If I'm going on an adventure I may
not neede lets say Eyes for example and need to carry other items,
just wondered your thoughts on balanceing these items.
Thanks So Much again for all the help.
I am really enjoying the game.

a little longer than in A dark room sinse you don't have the builder's

While I found it a longer collection than in A dark room, on the plus

bunch of new encounters have been added, particularly sinse you will find
you need to keep visiting dungeons to make sure you have food, durable
weapons and amo, plus there is a little special you can run into to make
combat generally easier, (as a little hint, trading is good, and all
resources in the game are used for something even if it doesn't seem so).

Even though it took a longer time to find all the alien alloy than in a

there

was much more to explore, though when you do! get to the ending I ran
into a

miner bug where I got a blank screen and had to turn vo off and tap it to
proceed, though whether Amir has sinse fixed this I don't know.

Oh, and there are some very cool audio interviews to listen to as well as
a

reward, just like a dark room has.

All the best,

Batteries, what are there purpose?
Also the laser, what ammo does it use?
I have a laser and it will say that it's precentage is fine but that

Lastly Alien Aloy, where do you think the best place is to attain it?
you cant trade for it like in a dark room so I am thinking I will be

had a few qquestions for those playing The Ensign game.
Not sure any thing I will ask will go into spoiler teratory but just
in case you have been warned.
First can you store collected items back at the Swamp?or better yet
 what is the swamps purpose?
I have a convoy now so have tons of space, but
I have 3 Knives, and 2 steel swords I am holding on to but wondered
do I need to hold on to more than one weapon? Is there any thing to
 be gained by doing this?
Also I wondered about the percentage that is given to the weapons, I
noticed of course the higher the more damage it does but how do you
 build it back up?
I am on a roll and think I am getting close to finding, well I better
leave it at that, don't want to spoil any elements of the game for any
 one.
 Well Thanks for reading. Sly
