Re: [Audyssey] accessible console games

2011-02-27 Thread alex wallis

Hi.
I have never tried mortal combat, I may have to look into that one.
I know they do have at least one of the sports packages, I can find out
which one.
Has anyone recorded podcasts with commentaries about playing any of the
sports games, or the mortal combat games? As I assume its a question of
needing to learn what the different sound cues mean.

also, what is you don't know jack? I haven't heard of that one.

[My Reply:]
Hello,

Well, if it's anything like Soul Blade or Tekken 3, there will
probably be a walk-through, strategy guide, and/or FAQ on the game on
the web. I know one of the Tekken 3 strategy guides I found was over
500K, and a small paperback novel is typically 300K in size. As popular
as Mortal Kombat was when it came out, you'll probably find something
similar in size for it.

[Audyssey] accessible console games.

2011-02-26 Thread alex wallis

Hi list.
I am wondering if I could get advice from the list about accessible
console games.
My nephews recently got a nintendo ds, one of those llittle portable
consoles, and also a wii that hooks up to the tv with the remotes you
can wave around etc.
I am wondering, what if any games are accessible for both consoles, as I
would love to be able to play a few games with them on either.

Thanks so much for your help,
Alex.

Hi Alex, I'm not sure about ds. As for wii, there are many games accessible.
If you have wii sports and wii sports resort, you can play tennis, table
tennis, sword play, boxing, basket ball 3 point contest etc without sighted
guide. For bowling, you will need some1 to tell you which pins are standing
after your first throw.
If you are into fighting games, mortal kombat Armageddon and tatsunoko vs
capcom.
