Well. suggest that. dunno if he'll actually do it, but if there's enough interest it might convince him. - Original Message - From: "Orin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "Gamers Discussion list" Sent: Monday, May 19, 2008 9:21 AM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] question about VipMud > You know, I wish there was a way to add the ability to play > simutronics games to VIPMud. You know, I wish there was a way to add the ability to play simutronics games to VIPMud. It'd be a hell of a lot easier to play them, and I've played with there client before, and it wasn't very enjoyable. I played with the frontend, but it didn't last long. If there was a way to play them I would sign up again and be active. I'm currently listening to Part 05 by GraphicAudio on the album Deathstalker Legacy #5 - Terror in the Night and is currently Playing. Re: [Audyssey] question about VipMud
if you're using jaws. go to the jaws configuration, and then choose use options in the menu bar. it's under set options. you will want to uncheck typing interrupt. pres enter go to the file sub menu and save, and you'll be all set. if there isn't a vip mud config file already jaws will create one when you enter the configuration for the first time. [Audyssey] question about VipMud
Hey all, First off I used to be a member of this list a long while back though I didn't often post, but have just returned. I have a question that I hope someone can help me answer. I have downloaded VipMud and am excited about it. I have read aobut it and it sounds like it is going to be awesome. There is one thing I am not sure if it can be done, and if so how. It is simple and may sound silly but I can't figure out how to to stop my typing interupting text that is coming from a mud. I was on Materia Magica. And things start scrolling on the screen, but the moment I start typing something the speech coming from the mud is silenced. I like being able to stop it with the control key, but don't want whenever I type to do the same thing. GMud keeps reading even when I am typing and I prefer that so that I am sure I am not missing something. Or if someone sends me a tell as I start to type I don't want it to be cut off in mid sentence. I have tried looking in the speech settings and for some reason no matter which I set I can't seem to get it to work the way I want. I know this is winded, but is there a way to stop it from interupting? If so, how? All responses would be greatly appreciated. Take care, Kellie and my lovable Lady J.
