Today its raining and I am bored.
One of my projects is to some how gather all the old soundcard music
and stuff to put online somewhere maybe or just to have for myself.
I have the media files for sb live 5.1, and creative vibra as well as
some files from the soundblaster install disks.
I know I have roland stuff and some yamaha stuff from somewhere.
I am searching for all the soundcard stuff from about 1990 to 1998 at
this stage.
My focus is midi, wave, cmfs and other audio.
At present I have lost some cds to cards.
I have an old sb16 with fm chip.
I am looking for the following things that I know that came with it.
1. the midi folder on the install disk there are 2 cds one with apps
and one with samples I think.
anyway the midi folder, the wave folder the 16 bit folder inside of that only.
I am also looking for the audio tracks on the cd.
I have a source where I can get loads of actual data files and files
modules for the cards but not all audio etc.
answer off list if you have any info.
If you know of any sites ftp is prefured I can get old music for
soundcards and such from that would rock websites would rock to.
If you have the cds to old sound cards I would appreciate having
those to, if possible not programs just the data, sound and music
files in a zip package or something.
I realise itss a long shot but I'm just asking.
