Re: [Audyssey] templates for BGT

2010-03-27 Thread dark

Hi Philip.

Both will be appreciated, especially the step by step tutorials.

I think once a mid level example is available that will make life much
easier, as will having a template to play with on a temporary basis as an
exercise in learning and manipulating the language.

Beware the Grue!

Hi Will,

I am working on templates as well as step by step tutorials on how to make
simple games since people have been asking for something in between a
theoretical language tutorial and a fully fledged game. These tutorials
will guide you through the process of how to turn the theoretical
knowledge acquired in the tutorial into practical, real-world game design
concepts. Similarly, the templates will be quick tweak solutions that'll
let you make your own slightly personal game in a matter of a few minutes.

As for sound and music resource recommendations, I suggest you read
through the FAQ.

Kind regards,

Philip Bennefall

hi Philip,

Are there pre-defined template scripts for game types such as
sidescrollers, 3d etc?

Also, does anyone know a good place to obtain music and sounds?
if one wishes to make games similar to old classic like sonic we are
going to struggle as copyright laws
