I think I had the very same problem. I think your problem probably is that you don't have a soundcard with multichannel capability or there is a problem with it. That is, jaws and another program can't play sounds together through the soundcard. Windows 98 is getting a little old. You should probably consider upgrading windows, your soundcard or both. Hi Charles! Yes, I do have newer versions of jaws that I have not put on my windows 98.1 version. I will probably try that now that I can get on the internet with that machine. I use to use jaws 4.5 with lone wolf on my windows 98 version 2 and it worked jusst fine. I will try that when I put a higher jaws version on there and license it on the internet. Probably tomorrow.
