We fully realise that some subjects are in effect a gray area. For
example, programming games. Although our focus is not about
programming games those topics are usually allowed provided it is
specific to programming games and not just general programming. I'm
usually the one who decides those cases since I'm the resident
programmer on the moderating staff and can decide if a question is too
generic, or is in some way applies to game programming. That's just
one example of one of the gray areas we often let pass even though we
all agree that there are better resources like the blind programming
list etc for programming questions.
