Re: [Audyssey] vehicle simulation games
Hi Phil. that's an interesting idea about wintruck, I'd not thought o that, however I'm less keen on combining racing sims like rail racer, top speed, win cart and usa raceway (when released), sinse the gameplay, objective and mechanics in racing games seems rather different from those in a war sim like lw or 3d velocity. As to the x plane and flight sim games, I'm not to be honest sure precisely how these work. They are I believe retail only and need to be bought from amazon, so i probably won't be able to try them, and also i'm not sure on the access. If someone could explain what the games are about, what their access is with various screen readers, and how they generally play I'd be glad to add them in. In fact, even discounting the racing games, it does seem gma tank commander, lw, 3D velocity and the two flight sims you mention would be enough for a generalized simulation catagory at five games. - Original Message - From: Phil Vlasak p...@pcsgames.net To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Friday, August 05, 2011 2:05 PM Subject: [Audyssey] vehicle simulation games Hi Dark, Along with Lone wolf, submarine simulation, Tank Commander, tank simulation, and 3d velocity fighter jet simulation, you could add, win truck 2, a cross country big rig truck driving simulation Rail Racer, a futuristic multiplayer racing simulation FS2004 plus It's Your Plane, a jet airplane simulation, and finally USA Raceway, a Daytona racing car simulation. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] vehicle simulation games
Hi Dark, I think so. Simulations is becoming a category of its own, and think Audiogames.net should probably make it an official category as 3D Velocity, Lone Wolf, Tank Commander, and things like Microsoft Flight Simulator should count as its own category by now. As to how MS Flight Simulator works it basically is from the point of view of a pilot who picks a type of aircraft and you must fly it from one air port to another carrying passengers or cargo etc. Since it isn't fully accessible on its own there are third-party plugins like Its Your Plane someone can by which adds the ability to use a co-pilot, the computer, to take off and land the plane. Its Your Plane uses Sapi to speak things like altitude, fuel, speed, etc, and you can verbally give commands to the co-pilot to do things you would have to do manually otherwise. Cheers! Re: [Audyssey] vehicle simulation games
Hi Tom. fair enough. I'm not sure how much I'll be able to do online for a bit, sinse I'm rather busy with a gilbert and sullivan festival and a music school, but when all that is out of the way I'll look into it. All the best, Dark. - Original Message - From: Thomas Ward thomasward1...@gmail.com To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Friday, August 05, 2011 7:07 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] vehicle simulation games Hi Dark, I think so.
