Funny story about this story.
The Sun is now owned by a newspaper group from Texas.
As a cost cutting measure, the copy editors for the subheadlines were all let
go, and that part of the print edition is written by an editing group out of
Texas. Presumably, they edit the subheadlines for
The Gainesville Sun printed some other public school system's meet the
teacher schedule about 2 week's ago. Then defended the printed calendar in
emails that I was copied on. Correction ran last week, but I wonder how
many readers only saw initial article? And there is no other Alachua County
in
Just more examples of the sad state of journalism today.
What's really unfortunate is that there aren't going to be enough reporters
watching over the legislatures and county commissions, exposing their misdeeds.

Awesome story I wished we could read stuff like this more often than the
stuff that's currently in the news. Very happy for Brannon! Thanks UF and
