Ditto concerning gtk-3.  I love gtk, but gtk-3 support looks half-baked, or 
half-usable.  Might be considering recompiling all my applications back to 
gtk-2 on this note.

I installed libchamplain-0.12-dev, libclutter-gtk-1.0-dev and
libchamplain-gtk-0.12-dev now and enabled via "--enable-gps
- --enable-clutter". (Is clutter always needed? Why not just have the gps
switch if it is bound to clutter?)

Compile and went well but...

   (geeqie:10413): Gtk-ERROR **: GTK+ 2.x symbols detected. Using GTK+ 2.x and

I came to the "bug" report #252 where Martin Kopta made a try for a new
logo long ago.

I like his design and I think it is much more mature than the current
one.

So what do you think about changing to his style? And which of them do
you like most?

I did set the milestone to 2.0 so no hurry for the current version but
come up with your thinkings about that.

I like the solution. However, the last time I tried, it was in bad
shape. I believe, there is some work needed.

Maybe we can designate it for version 2.0 or maybe for 1.4. I do not
thing that we should do it for 1.3.

I just looked who was the original author, and seen that it was you. :-)

Minimalists and maintainers of minimal-packages would still be able to 
use --disable to reduce the dependencies.
