Hi Mark,
Considering today's large Dubbo users, I think we'd better separate the
mailing lists from the very beginning, so that everyone can be benefit
since in this way we could use dev to discuss product bugs/features, and
use user for troubleshooting purpose.

Sure, sounds reasonable. Let's stick to one :)

Dubbo has good user base already. Very pleased to see it become an Apache
project.

Hi Sebb,
Thanks for the suggestion. I've updated the release process wiki at

Please note though that this release is only old once the new release is
approved. So there's no rush in deleting the 1.0 release until 1.1 has
passed.
Most projects that I deal with simply do this as a part of the release
execution.

I have created a PR to revert the LICENSE file to the previous version. I
have also updated this file with a few packages that were missing here.
Link to PR - https://github.com/apache/incubator-mxnet/pull/9701
It would be great if you could review this PR to suggest any other
necessary changes.
Thank you for the comments. The license issue should be fixed in the next
RC then.
Other than that, is moving submodules like dmlc-core/nnvm/ps-lite etc. to
3rd-party a must-have for the the next release candidate of 1.1.0? In the
original LICENSE file (MXNet 1.0.0) we explicitly state that these
Good news! I think Dubbo will be more and more popular.

Reminder: please delete old releases from the ASF mirrors.
It's not fair to expect volunteer mirrors to carry them.
Hi Sebb,
I'll clean up the old releases now. Thanks for the reminder.

You don’t need to exclude files that are under a different licensesI would
rather see them in the rat report so I know what 3rd party software is there.
And yes I noticed a couple (which would not be a
Hi Justin,
Thank you for your time to review this Release Candidate.
For this Release I attempted to fix most of the pending license issues and
I have documented all the changes in this wiki -

Great, thanks for the effort, Alex.

Hi Sebb,
I've deleted the older releases and will remove 1.0.0 after 1.1.0 is
officially announced.

OK, thanks.
Please also update any release process docs to ensure tidyup takes
place after every release.

Hi Justin,
I'm revising LICENSE and NOTICE files following your comments and [D].
https://github.com/apache/incubator-hivemall/blob/v0.5.0/LICENSE#L205
(copyrights are removed from LICENSE)
https://github.com/apache/incubator-hivemall/blob/v0.5.0/NOTICE
Does it seem okey for you?
[D] says
Hi,
Note the mix of public and private lists (as I’m replying to where it was sent).
However I think this should be discussed on dev@hivemall not private@.

Let me correct. LICENSE information is removed from NOTICE.
Hi,

See points 3 to 5 of [1] so unless major changes have been made it best to keep
the original header and not add an ASF one. Points 1 and 2 are sort of
important as well :-)
Thanks,
Justin
