We've recently been working to update the Lucene.Net website to
reflect our new status as an Incubator Podling and just generally get
up to date. During that process we have been discussing the project
branding and logo.

Ok, I guess by recently done by Apache CouchDB I meant, done in
2007, before it was an Apache product, and it wasn't so much a contest
but a single line call for submissions in a very large blog post about
technical matters.
But regardless, they ended up with a great logo.
