Hm, could you give a more detailed list of features you expect?
E.g.:
- input data structure and format (is it a file?)
- what statistics? fitting curves? clustering? calculating
medians, standard derivations, quantiles, rankings? test
 for abnormal data?
- what nice graphs? lines, bars, different markers, candles, 3D?
- just plot or do user interaction: zoom in etc?

I can't find anything -- loads of spreadsheets, but no graphing tools at
all. Unless somebody else comes with a tip, I will propose to start it
as a subproject within JMeter.

Thanks to J.Pietschmann, Laurence Moroney, and Bruce McDonald for their
suggestions. All three ideas look worth researching further.

Hi.

JMeter could make good symbiosis with a free Java data analysis tool.
I've been searching a little, but not been able to find anything good.

Most relevant requirements are being able to read a set of numeric timed
data sets and generate nice graphs and simple statistics from them.

Any pointers?

This situation has been discussed on the Gump mailing list
[EMAIL PROTECTED], but a quick debug of things didn't find the problem
& Sam Ruby hasn't had more time to investigate the problems.

Whither Gump?

2003-10-08 Thread BAZLEY, Sebastian
Is Gump on holiday?

There don't seem to be any nightly builds since September 9th. The jar
directories seem to be up to date, but are not complete (e.g. JMeter is not
present).

[This is not a particular problem for me, but it would be useful if the
nightly builds could be made available again.]
