If you have intent to sell such a device to the public, the plans need to be approved by a licensed engineer, which I am not. If, on the other hand, this is a private project, I am intrested. ___ General mailing list General@brlug.net http://brlug.net/mailman/listinfo/general_brlug.net
Re: [brlug-general] Embedded systems development
I have tinkered with the arm 7tdmi instruction set on keil uvision, but I don't know that I would be much help as most of what I did was pretty much bare metal and didn't have the functionality you're talking about as I just implemented serial data stream to the gpio. I'm interested in your progress though. Sent from my iPhone > On Sep 17, 2016, at 7:05 PM, Jeffrey Lee wrote: > > Yes. I develop in Objective-C so that's not a big deal. Re: [brlug-general] Embedded systems development
Yes. I develop in Objective-C so that's not a big deal. Embedded development seems to be mostly in C which also isn't a problem. The problem with my project seems to be with picking and choosing the appropriate components and chips and subsequently designing a board to hold them. There are many combinations and not all of them work together.
