now stable on all stable arches.

portage outputs a fat message "Masked by EAPI" once a package with EAPI too
new for portage is required.
[Most of my systems also run ~arch portage by default. Rarely any proble
to use a random combination of eclasses, like perl-module,
python-r1, kde4-base ...), update your system and check for all possible
resolver oddities... Too much work? Tough.

Been there done that. In the package dir, just do
cvs add something-x.y.ebuild
(while the ebuild file is missing) and it magically reappears.

base.eclass. Manually adding an inherit to kde4-functions doesnt gain us
anything there except redundancy.
So, kde4-base.eclass could/should be able to declare somehow everything from
kde4-functions is also after my taste and can be used.

This will hopefully lighten the load on arch teams. Whether to use this
keyword is the decision of the package maintainer; obviously it should only be
used where that is safe to do.
