Someone can clarify but don't you need to be a Foundation member to
nominate or support nominations?
Either way, all of the current Council get my nomination, plus welp
gets a second.

I nominate everyone on the current Council and/or second anyone else
nominating them :)

I want to nominate:
Fernando J. Pereda -- ferdy
Bo Ørsted Andresen -- zlin
Is there a method for objecting to a nomination, kinda like the
opposite of seconding it? :P
Oh, btw! astinus, I'm nominating you. :P
Hahahahah, I find this hilarious and will accept just so I can *not*
write a big manifesto (pointless waste of time) and *not* vote for
myself -- gotta be worth seeing how badly one can fail to be elected
;)
What would I aim to fix? Hopefully not
I completely agree. Few people have done more behind the scenes as Roy.
I would also like to nominate zmendico for his excellent work with portage.
I agree with both of these and also think both agaffney and wolf31o2
would serve us excellently on Council. Consider them nominated too :)

ferdy, thanks for the nomination.
astinus, thanks for your support and inspiration, which almost
convinced me for running for Council.
Any time :) In which case I guess maybe Jeroen Roovers (rej / jer)
wants that spot on the ticket? ;) I'd like

Thanks, but I'm not sure what I could do to fix this crazy thing.
Precisely why you'd be perfect for the job. You would bring new
perspective to the role, not misconceptions.

Except you'd rather veto the ones you don't like. Hehe... It must suck being
you, wanting to veto people and not being able to do it :)
I trust the masses to do the sensible thing and not vote for people
who'd be bad for the project. Hopefully

Whilst I'd agree Ciaran flames with the best of them, and trolls with
the worst, you simply cannot contend he never contributed anything to

Congratulations :) Welcome to the team, if we keep getting UK developers
into Gentoo/AMD64 at this rate we'll outnumber the Germans soon :D

Hiya All,
I seem to be making a habit of 'For Sale' notices lately; guess I like
to keep decent hardware within the community, and see it continue to
run Gentoo :)
I have a Dell Poweredge 2950 of the following spec:
* 2 x Intel Xeon 5110, 1.6GHz/4MB, Dual-Core
* 16GB FB 667mhz Memory
