I am preparing to
installphp andmysql in conjunction with Apache. Apache is
already installed. Does anyone have a list of USE flags that I can use
to
disable some of the dependencies, for a more minimal install? I only
need
the the mysql client and mod_php.

I have win98,win2k,winxp linux working just fine together (through a
switch, to a router and out to the internet) If you are still having

first Gentoo server, pretty cool!) and based on his character, I can surely
say that he is not the devil, and I believe that he is making the best
decision for Gentoo, which will have a positive effect on it's user
is one of these server running ssh.com and the other openssh? Will you
paste the results of your scp attempt in verbose mode to the next email?
(use the -v swith for verbose mode)

I have run into certain issues with scp, where the remote server will only
accept scp -v -2 [EMAIL PROTECTED] connections, because the remote server is
forcing protocol 2 only connections. Have you tried that?
