Or alternately use the net.ppp0 script in the /etc/init.d directory, in which
case you can start/stop you're connection using /etc/init.d/net.ppp0 start/stop.
Make sure you edit the/etc/conf.d/net.ppp0(configuration file) to dial out
correctly and have pppd and chat installed.
