Hmm, that seems interesting, but what´s more interesting is that I guess people never had my problem!!! To solved it; I changed the home directory of my user [in debian, since I don´t use it much now] to /home/myuser/debian, and I left gentoo to be /home/myuser because it was frustrating having it

Hi, I installed Debian, then I started liking gentoo and installed it too. In debian, programs (e.g. xchat) store my settings in my home directory (e.g. /home/myusername/.xchat). But now that I have gentoo installed, and a /home partiton, the gentoo settings and the debian once will conflict (I kn
