I copy movies from my phone and camera to my computer and have troubles playing them. The camera produces .mov files which file says are Apple QuickTime movie (unoptimized). The phone produces .3gp movies which file says are ISO Media, MPEG v4 system, 3GPP. I also download youtube .flv movies

I use a slideshow as a wallpaper on a kde4.4 desktop. Every 20 minutes, a new painting appear, scaled up to fit my display (1892x1392). They are .jpeg images, 600 pixels wide and up. Some appear perfectly scaled up and nice looking while other are poorly enlarged, very soft with squarish

Hi there, my server was running strait for 8 month now. I did updates regularly but still used an 2.6.2x kernel. Never switched it of. Now someone from houskeeping pulled the plug for the vacuum cleaner ... Anyway the box won't boot anymore. grub starts up. Kernel boots. Then there is checking
