[gentoo-user] Rsync question
Regarding my problem, in troubleshooting, I'm trying to understand exactly what the timeout value means in rsyncd.conf. The man page doesn't really specify if this timeout clock starts at the beginning, and no matter what, if it's hit the client is killed. Or, does that only start when data isn't being transferred? Does anybody here happen to know? -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list

I believe the timeout is since the last lot of data was transferred. -- -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list
