[gentoo-user] Rsync question

Regarding my problem, in troubleshooting, I'm trying to understand exactly what
the timeout value means in rsyncd.conf.

The man page doesn't really specify if this timeout clock starts at the
beginning, and no matter what, if it's hit the client is killed. Or, does that
only start when data isn't being transferred?

Does anybody here happen to know?

I believe the timeout is since the last lot of data was transferred.
