I think enough would be to throw a warning in the log as Geoserver starts up,
and perhaps even when a capabilities request is requested. Most people will try
to get rid of warnings where they can, if they know that they are there.

Tested this with a geotiff. If you disable the store if will show you the
warning icon next to it to show that it's disabled. Also it will show you a
warning icon next to all of the feature types within that store. However
This is easily the biggest release to date. So many new and exciting features.
Well done to everyone. It's a huge achievement.

is it possible to transform EPSG: 900913 to EPSG: 2177 in real time?
When you make a getMap request, add the SRS=EPSG:2177 parameter. This will
automatically display the resulting map in that projection, along with your
layer.

For info: seems the server that generates the map on the geoserver home page is
not functioning. Pink tiles :/

Hi all,
The following issue came across, when i configured SQLView with
complex SQL statement with combining 2 tables and SDO_AGGR_UNION
function to group related records. It could be some thing specific to
Oracle and surely nothing to do with
a bit too much overhead just to create a
single legend graphic. Perhaps there is a better way.
Interested to hear if anyone has any ideas (or just confirm if my assumption is
correct)

Hi all,
I just shot through an email to Jody regarding what help is needed at FOSS4G
2010 with Geoserver (well, OpenGEO). I'm just trying to find out if I can help
out in some way, i.e. running workshops, manning the stall, etc, as I don't

This issue occurs if you have two layers with the same name, in different
namespaces.
Example: You have two layers 'bruschetta:tomato' and 'sandwich:tomato'. If you
click on 'sandwich:tomato' it will take you to the edit page
