Andrea is being a little modest for his employer GeoSolutions. The company
did a lot of the RnD for hazelcast clustering and shared it as a community
module to collaborate with my former employer. While we have each supported
customers successful using these cluster solutions :)

You're not, active clustering is a niche use case, has few
Hey Jody,
Thanks for the update - I appreciate it!
I do appreciate the intent of the community modules. As i'm not a
developer, they would have to be well documented and functional for me to
be able to use them. I'm in need of JDBC, Hazelcast clustering and JMS
clustering. I'm building this
The build server is starting to be back online now, restoring community
modules is not so much a priority (we have tests and making last months
release as a higher priority). We are thinking days to weeks since this is
an overhead no company specifically pays us for. So far planet federal has
Hey all,
First - i'm no developer, just an IT guy. I'm curious when the community
modules might be back online as I'd like to get my hands on some.
I could certainly work to build them on my own, it's just semi foreign to
me. If we are thinking days away, i'll just wait. But if we think it'll
Note even when that server comes back I doubt historic community modules
will be available. You should consider building from source for the best
experience (ie to be sure of compatibility with the release of GeoSever you
are using).
The community module links are intended to share ideas and RnD

Where is that link actually? I can't find it from the download page.
Some of the community module documentation still link to the download

different content if you select the Nightly builds link instead of the
regular tagged link
Thanks !

There is a link off geoserver.org for various builds.
A couple of clicks later you’ll get to
https://build.geoserver.org/geoserver/master/community-latest
ares is no more.
However the build server is a little loaded at the moment, so you might want to
give it a day or two.

Hi,
Some time ago, you could find community modules for donwload at
http://ares.boundlessgeo.com/geoserver/master/community-latest
This link does not seem to work anymore.
Is there another resource where we could get the community modules, or
do we have to build them as needed, by ourselves
