A fixture file contains your connect information. Fixture files are
for Online Tests. The former setup for jdbc tests was not
corresponding to the design of Online tests. If there is no fixture
file, the test is skipped.

I just come across the changes Justin et. al. worked on in GEOT-1981
and GEOT-3110 and realized that the jdbc tests have been given a new
testing process. The changes seemed big but can anyone be kind enough
to give a short explanation of what is the change about as relevant to
a jdbc-mod

Thanks for the detailed background - stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I would prefer the defaults to be chosen for speed; rather then pretty (but
perhaps that is me).
In this case I don't like the idea of changing rendering on something that
is already deployed everywhere.
So a
GeoTiffMetadata2CRSAdapter: Define a static Default AllAuthoritiesFactory to be
used when no hints are provided to the constructor
