I gave the thing a spin, putting the needed libs in the refresh.xml of
uDig. I got a ton of compilation problems.
I then noticed that it had pulled a version 2.2 of the netcdf-java
library, which is outdated.
I then had no more time to fiddle around with the problem. I miss
resources to so
App-schema: PropertyIsNull is meant to return false when the property is not
found.

We found the code; it is in a "coverageio-experiment" and is not part
of the build.
So Andrea the ball is in your court - what do you want to do?
