pull requests can be blocked waiting on feedback from submitters,
changes required, or review by core developer or module maintainer. If a
submitter does not respond, we sometimes wait a long time before closing
a pull request.
If you have a particular pull request that is of interest
We got a bit stuck with the release cycle stretching out, some were waiting
on the code freeze which is now over.
A few I am interested in are waiting revision based on feedback.

I've just noticed there are 23 open pull requests on GH, some of them rather
old... I was under the impression this was the preferred way of proposing changes
to the codebase, am I mistaken?

Hi all,
To close the loop on this, did a letter get drafted and/or approved for
the Ora{Reader,Writer} bits?
I see the letter for Shapefile code here:

see notes about it in the 09-05 minutes, and no mention in the 09-19
