I am new to CSIRO and have been assigned this task. When you say you want a
good set of regression test, what are you expecting? A new set of test cases or
to just to make sure that the change will successfully pass all the unit test?

I am open to changing it but I think we would want to

property accessor - including one that does full xpath support (thanks
to an apache project).
There are many PropertyAccessor implementations around ...
