First off, thanks to all those keeping get_iplayer running! I hadn't been able
to get it working on my new Win8 laptop since November, but with the new
installation file it's been running ok since this weekend. After the demise of
Radio Downloader, I've also been using it for radio.
My
1. Windows 8 update (Thu morning)
2. Low battery shutdown
3. get_player = 0xc142 error
4. reinstalled get_player - same error
5. System Restore to before update - same error
6. sfc/scannow C: scan - Corrupt files successfully repaired.
- get_iplayer goes through BBC cache then exits.
