Just bumping this, as it's still broken. How can I force get_iplayer or the
PVR to download to the correct directory automatically without having to
manually use the --output option?

I have noticed that the BBC channels keep the previous 2 hours of live
TV stored in a buffer. On my Smart TV, I can restart the programme I
am watching in iPlayer, and can pause it for upto 2 hours behind the
current time. It will pause for more than 2 hours, but only stores the

Recently my PVR window has stopped showing anything except the top bar
(logo, Search, Recordings, etc) when I start it from the menu. If I
refresh it, the window again shows it's trying to load something for
several seconds, then stops with the same top bar displayed and
nothing else. The annoying

manage things and it too is slow to display. It’s never not displayed,
but something is amiss as the formatting is now wrong more often than
not. Could Norton be slowing localhost websites down or causing them
to time out?
