Hi - did anyone get S05E23 on Wednesday. Its airing on BBC 1 London
was cancelled. But it might have gone out on HD or BBC 1 Wales. Its
not on iPlayer. Thanks - Chris B.

I complained to the Beeb but received no response. No-one has the
episode. I even emailed Ricochet - but again no response. Chris B. .

I'm trying to rationalse what's going on in Brit. comedy re-airings on
iPlayer. Judging by the rubbish that goes under the name of 'comedy'
today how dare they mess with our old-time classics.
This year and last year the Beeb has been re-airing series 8, 9 and 10
of the Navy Lark at 320 kbps. Prev

An alternative to actual downloading it is possible to use the free
open-source OBS screen capture app. to copy YouTube (and many other
clips) direct from the screen. I've used it for RTE programmes.because
RTE-Player doesn't appear to work in the UK. CJB

There's been a general outage of the Internet all day in the UK. DNS
servers up and down like a yo-yo. Internet on and off. Sporadic
connections. Failed uploads / downloads. No Yahoo Mail. Websites at
.co.uk seem slow but OK. .com sites rarely complete. Sabotage? Maybe.

Using Three mobile wifi on 4G I should be getting over 10Mb/s - but
during the last few weeks it has been on average 0.5Mb/s even down to

Typically I get:

Hi - I use Firefox with the Video Downloader add on. It seems to
detect the media URL(s) OK and then downloads whatever it finds. Its a
bit clunky to use and is not that intuitive. I am sure that there are
online downloader sites too. Google around. Currently I'm doing Long

The version in the Program Files (x86) folder is the 32-bit version
The version in Program Files folder is the 64-bit version
You now seem to have two version installed.
Why not delete both, and re-install just the one version for whatever
your OS is?

Channel 4 streaming is DRM'd. OBS is a good solution. Works for me on Win 10.
Time Team should also be at MVGROUP.org - free membership and downloads

But I don't understand the value 'web' for --tv-quality, and yet 'sd'
is not commnsurate with modes=good
