Hi!
I don't know if it's a know issue, but it seems that the contour from
pencil, paintbrush and rubber are being wrongly drawn on the screen
(using latest git version).
A video is available at http://sites.google.com/site/naoliv/gimp
demonstrating this issue.
See that when using the pencil, the

I don't know if it's related to the GTK theme or something else, but
having a button with ? on it, to choose the dynamics mode is somehow
strange (see http://sites.google.com/site/naoliv/gimp/1.png). It looks
something like a help button.
If we look at the mode for pencil, for example
And hi one more time!
Couldn't we have a square (and square fuzzy) brush by default on Gimp
or it's out of the scope/vision/something else of the product?
Thanks again!
Best regards,
Nelson

Also see that by latest git version, I really mean the latest version
(7e6d2542f22f7168abc7160fc0960e405e2eb607 right now). So the problem
is still there.
commit 7e6d2542f22f7168abc7160fc0960e405e2eb607
Is not showing incorrect tool contours for me.

Making good default icon is important. But please remember that it is more
important to allow users define their own custom icons for each dynamics
separately (like icons of the brush resourse in MyPaint.) Users make their
own dynamics and distinguish them by its icons.

I think that solid, one-color, vector-based brushes would be even
better to have. They would make square, round, oval and you-name-it

Letting users define their own is the general plan for both dynamics
and tool presets.
it will take some time to implement that however.
