Can you give some more details on how you are building gegl?
Is there a dependency checklist which Florent can follow? Is it
correct and complete?
The only dependency at the moment is glib.
If I can provide further informations I've not given yet on the gegl-dev
list, just please let me

Indeed he explained that the doc was removed because it was
really too old and outdated, and that it was not sync to the content
of the cvs, so people whilling to do some do it yourself

In all seriousness I would not risk putting the word gimp anywhere on
my CV and I have had funny reactions (funny weird, never funny ha ha)
when explaining the GIMP to users not already familiar with it.
Remember that not in all languages the gimp word has funny connotations,
