And hi one more time! Couldn't we have a square (and square fuzzy) brush by default on Gimp or it's out of the scope/vision/something else of the product? Thanks again! I think that solid, one-color, vector-based brushes would be even better to have. They would make square, round, oval and you-name-it brushes just a subset of possibilities. All that by implementing one infrastructure :) — the rest would be defining brush shape. (create brush from phrase) Maybe we could come along with some more 2 or 3 ideas to populate a file-create-brush... submenu. There an Exact square brush... could easily fit. If, for a polygonal brush, there was a read-only message displayed, sides: 4px that might be useful. However, if aspect ratio is not 1:1 I don't know what would be useful, e.g. for a squashed pentagon...
