I use gimp(1.2.0)-perl for making gif images in batches and a batch is
of around 5000 images(gifs).
What should be the ideal size of the tile cache(currently 50m) so that
gimp does not create a swap file.(it takes up all the disk space in one
batch)
I delete the image after I save as
OOPS!!!
I forgot to change the perl script name in the shell script (both at the
bottom of my last mail) from "rot to "tests".
well doesn't make much of a difference

Finally the wait(long one) is over for a new stable version of gimp
and I THANK YOU ALL for making GIMP -- what GIMP is today.
Before I go any further let me tell you I am a gimp "user"
