due to the summer and everyone being busy doing other things not too
much did happen in the GIMP CVS tree lately. Nevertheless a couple of
changes accumulated over time and I felt that a new developers release
was due. So here's GIMP-1.3.8 for you:

Yes, _readchannel is used by libgimpui.
And the iwarp plug-in uses _gimp_layer_copy().

this package.
This software includes the Print plug-in for the Gimp, and GhostScript
and CUPS drivers, including Foomatic data.
The Gimp Print plugin requires the Gimp 1.2.
