[Gimp-user] how to change selection size

Dear list members: I've just started to learn gimp. I am using 2.00 on suse 9. 1. I have the following problem: I don't know to change or fine tune a selection's size. For example if I select a rectangular area, how can I change its size without reselecting it again? Please write me back to

[Gimp-user] Gimp-2.2.x very slow to load image

I recently upgraded to gimp-2.2.4 (and .3 before that), just after I installed Red Hat Fedora Core 3 as my new latest-and-greatest operating system. I'm running it on an AMD K6 processor, 450 Mhz, 256MB of RAM, plenty of HD space. Whereas in gimp-2.0.x images would load promptly, I find that
