As an update, I don't see that any keyboard shortcuts are set to Alt+E in my keyboard shortcuts default list. Naturally because the Edit menu has the mnemonic E and Alt refers directly to the menu system in Windows (I don't know what OS you are using), I expect Alt+E to open the Edit menu. In the
