Hi, I have installed Gimp 1.2.1 with Mandrake Linux 8.0. If I close the tool options window and after that I try to reopen it via doubbleclick on a tool icon in the main window GIMP crashes. It is only possible to kill it with kill -9 an after that I get the following message in the shell: LibGimp

I assume you have a network, and another box with the X Window System. The best solution I can think of is to telnet (or shh) to the server, and run the install. This should open the install window on the host you are working from. However you may be slightly hampered by security measures or th
