hollywood gimp eh? is this available to everybody? how come i haven't heard anything
about this? is it the same as all of the other gimp's?

Is it a window manager problem? My Gimp doesn't have problems with this,
but my netscape does. I blame it on the window manager.

I have installed Gimp 1.2.1 with Mandrake Linux 8.0.
If I close the tool options window and after that I try to reopen it via
doubbleclick on a tool icon in the main window GIMP crashes. It is only
possible to kill it with kill -9 an after that I get the following
message in the shell: LibGimp

I've tried to get the Hollywood Gimp version running, but I always get
compile errors and I am also not 100% sure what I should check out cvs,
is there something like a distribution with nice .tgz files or something
like this ? or maybe somebody who got it running and can give me some
