i'm having trouble with making transparent gifs..my prep for gif
which I assume I need for that..is ghosted

Have you messed with gnuplot? After reading the help (which is quite
extensive) you can figure out how to modify your sin curve as you see
fit. When you get something you like, just output to a .gif file and
play with it in gimp. Certainly easier than coding in pascal ;)

Blur, at the moment. But when I get to it, I'll implement the descreening
algorithm

Hi!
Discovered a problem with the perl filters of my GIMP 1.1.13. The perl filters
appear in an own menu called "Filter" (German), but the binary filters appear
in an other menu called "Filter" (Germen). Although they are the same names
they're two different menus.
