Yep, same here on my relatively new iMac running OS X 10.11.6 and GIMP
2.8.18. My issue is mostly with redraw speed of the preview following any
editing change. I tried all sorts of techniques to try and speed things
up--like changing file cache size, etc--all to no avail. My understanding

Currently running 2.8.18 under OS X 10.11.6 with 8GB memory and I can't set
the Tile Cache Size larger than 4GB. Is this a restriction whereby this
cache size cannot be larger than 50% of physical RAM?

long time.

Hello,
New user to GIMP and I just installed the Color Decompose script by
patdavid from the registry. When I run it, it seems to be working as
expected, but then I get the following error message:
GIMP Message
Execution error for 'Color Decompose':

Hello All,
Just downloaded and installed this script from the GIMP Plugin Registry,
but I can't seem to find it on any menu. Can anybody tell me where I should
find it listed?
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Alan
