No, actually -- I sent a flattened GIMP image to a friend with photoshop and he
floored me by being able to separate the layers and manipulate them anyway. I
have some flattened images I would like to do that with and am wondering if it
is possible in GIMP. It would save me a lot of time._
I can size the canvas perfectly, but when I add an image as a layer and try to
resize the image, it will not resize to fit the canvas. How is this done?___

Is there a way to take a flattened image and reverse that so you can manipulate
the layers? Photoshop allows it.___
