Hi, my Ubuntu PPA - https://launchpad.net/~otto-kesselgulasch/+archive/gimp - for Ubuntu and its derivates has estimated 10 downloads for Gimp 2.8.10 as far I can trust the stats from api.launchpad.net. ;-) The supported Ubuntu distros are Precise, Quantal, Raring, Saucy and Trusty for i386 and amd64 architectures. SourceForge does show the amount of downloads per week for each file, e.g. http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-win/files/GIMP%20%2B%20GTK%2B%20%28stable%20release%29/GIMP%202.8.6/ 2. We don't use SourceForge anymore, so those numbers will be increasingly misleading at people learn to get the files from gimp.org only. It could be hundreds of thousands of people, or millions, or tens of millions.
