there is a windows collection but can't verify if it contains any malware,
viruses or root kits. I had a copy when the site was up and running, but
there are copies in the wild now that claim to be the "collection" and this
is where my verification process falters. i make no accusations or
proclamations regarding the safety of the current offerings.
the gimp registry began offering extensions with "bugs". they powers that
were at the time made the decision to close the registry until a better
distribution system was developed.
