I still have problems to select a RAW loader with Gimp-2-GIT (branch
gimp-2-10) on Gentoo Linux
If I click on Edit -> Preference -> Image Import & Export
I do see ${gimp_plugin_in_dir}/plug-ins/nufraw-gimp
But when I click on it, it gets greyed out and seems to be get ignored
since
Raw Therapee is a great tool, but I find the documentation befuddling. I'd
like to convert about 100 Nefs to 16 bit pgn. I'm not making edits at this
time, but would also be interested in knowing what my optional line would be to
apply a batch edit.

The Program can't start because libgdk-win32-2.0-0.dll is missing from your
computer. try reinstalling the program to fix this problem...

You can search for libgdw-win32 in the gimp archives and get a full
explanation. But, iirc, there are two copies of libgdw-win32 on your
computer. Find the first, the one not installed by gimp and delete
it.
Then you should be gold.

Hi gbudavid,
I could install UFRaw on Windows. You just have to obey the instructions
at [1], in the MS-Windows
I can't open NEF files. This has just started to happen. in the last couple of
days. Before that I could open them with no problem.
Any ideas?

Install UFRaw: http://ufraw.sourceforge.net/
Note, however, that GIMPshop is based on GIMP 2.2 which is years and
years old. Do you absolutely need it?
