screenshots and reducing those screenshots to gray scale to take up
less space when I send a partial screenshot through email.

Running Windows 8 on new laptop. Downloaded Gimp 2.8. Solved the dll issue, and
now Gimp won't start (Oxc07b). No clue how to solve this. Any help is
appreciated.

This one: libgimp-2.0-0.dll "missing" from computer.
But that's solved now. It' the Gimp won't start (Oxc07b) that I can't solve

Ok, so this is where any useful attempt to fix further GIMP problems on
your system is doomed.

I'm trying to set up a template so that I'm set as the author by default. I go
to Image properties/ Description tab/Author and fill that out, create a template
and make sure it's created in it's folder; but when i reopen the template in
gimp, the fields are blank for author etc . The other values l
